To get started, simply reinstall Tracker from the original CD to a new folder. For example purposes, let's say you call the new folder "C:\TRKA3P". After it installs, go into Windows Explorer and delete all files ending in ".sf" from the "C:\TRKA3P\Data" folder. Then, simply download the 2008 and 2009 zip files and unzip them into the "C:\TRKA3P\Data" folder and you're ready to use Tracker. Now, in your APLUS90 installation folder, locate the file named "TRACKER.TXT" and edit it using WordPad or NotePad and change it to point to "C:\TRKA3P\Data". Note that if you still plan on using third party vendor files (as well as our files), you should have a duplicate installation of A+ Thorobred where "TRACKER.TXT" points to the original Tracker data files.

The new version 1.12 of A+ Basic is now available for free download to anyone who already has the program.
It includes all previous enhancements from 1.10 and 1.11. In addition, version 1.12 restores the automatic scratch feature that was disabled when TSN went out of business. It will now depend on a daily scratch file that we update hourly at about 10 minutes past each hour from 10:10 AM through 11:10 PM. It will only remove scratches in the current day's files.

To get the new version, download the file BASIC112.ZIP and unzip it into the folder where you installed A+ Basic. The unzipped file name will be APBASIC1.W3 and should overlay the existing version of that file. We recommend first saving a backup copy of the file APBASIC1.W3 before downloading and unzipping this new file.
