It
has come to our attention that TSN has assembled the Santa Anita (Oak Tree) PCS
file with the track abbreviation "OSA". Both A+ Thoroughbred and Tracker have
problems with that file and we previously recommended a manual fix that was a
bit complicated for some. So, we developed a program that does all the work for
you. To download and install it, please read the following
instructions:
1.) Create a folder on your hard drive named
"C:\OSA2SAX" 2.) Download the file OSA2SAX.W3 into your C:\OSA2SAX folder by
clicking the link below 3.) Download the file OSA2SAX.INI into your
C:\OSA2SAX folder by clicking the link below 4.) Copy TRACKER.EXE OR
APLUS80.EXE into your C:\OSA2SAX folder 5.) Rename C:\OSA2SAX\TRACKER.EXE (or
APLUS80.EXE depending on which file you chose in step 4) to
C:\OSA2SAX\OSA2SAX.EXE 6.) At this point, you should have OSA2SAX.W3,
OSA2SAX.EXE and OSA2SAX.INI in your C:\OSA2SAX folder. 7.) Find the
OSA2SAX.EXE file and double click it to start the program. 8.) Follow the on
screen directions to run the program
To use Tracker to download the TSN
Instant Chart Files, you will need to modify the file TRACKS.TXT in your Tracker
folder as follows: 1.) Find the file TRACKS.TXT in your Tracker installation
folder and double click it. 2.) It should open in WordPad (if it doesn't,
you'll need to open WordPad first and open it from WordPad's File dropdown
menu). 3.) Scroll down to the O's and insert "OSA OAK TREE (SANTA ANITA)" in
its proper alphabetical position (between OPX and OTC) 4.) Save the file. Now
Tracker will allow you to automatically download the OSA Chart Files from
TSN
Note: DO NOT modify TRACKS.TXT in your A+ Thoroughbred folder. That
may lead to problems!
